Horology

Horology (from Greek: ὥρα hṓr|a "hour; time" + -o- interfix + suffix -logy;[1] lit. the study of time) is art or science of measuring time. Clocks, watches, clockwork, sundials, clepsydras, timers, time recorders and marine chronometers are all examples of instruments used to measure time.

People interested in horology are called horologists. That term is used both by people who deal professionally with timekeeping apparatus (watchmakers, clockmakers), as well as aficionados and scholars of horology. Horology and horologists have numerous organizations, both professional associations and more scholarly societies.

호롤로지.. (어감이 참;;ㅋ)  우리말로 하자면 측시학(測時學), 시계학, 시계제작법 등등.

 

 

순전히 내 취향대로의 브랜드나 (대부분 손목시계)제품들을 정리하게 될 거고

 그 중에서도 특히 자사 무브먼트를 가진 브랜드를 위주로 포스팅을 하게 되겠지만

실제 사용기 구입기 이딴 걸 기대하신다면

나보다 훨씬 더 이 분야에 박식하고 해박하고 전문적인 지식을 가진 이들이 많겠으나

난 그저 해외 유명 싸이트의 자료나 기사들을 모아모아 담으려 할 뿐이고,

내 취향대로의 브랜드의 정보나 뉴스 등등에 관심의 끊을 놓치지 않으려는 몸짓일 뿐이니.

생각대로라면 하고 싶은게 엄청나게 많은데 과연.....
